AI Chatbot for Window& Siding Contractors
Turn the visitors you already pay for into booked in-home estimates. Ellen answers every window, siding and door question, day or night. She sends your booking link, so no inquiry goes to the next company.
Benefits of a window and siding AI chatbot.
Ellen handles the first conversation and hands every lead to your team, so better-sorted requests mean better estimates.
Answers when your showroom is closed.
Homeowners shop in the evening. Every visitor gets a reply and your booking link.
Sorted before the visit.
Each request is labeled windows, siding or door, with the count, the age of the home and the timing.
Your team stays in charge.
Every lead goes to your team by text and email, so your office and salespeople take it from there. Ellen supports them, she doesn’t replace them.
Fewer wasted trips.
One-window repairs, out-of-area addresses and work you don’t do get a polite reply instead of a booking link. You set these in your dashboard.
Better appointments.
When Ellen asks whether everyone who decides will be home, more visits can end with a real decision.
Better return on your ad money.
When more of the inquiries you already pay for become in-home estimates with real projects, your Google Ads and SEO budget goes further.
Every question Ellen answers.
The questions homeowners ask on your website, answered in your words. Prices come only from the ranges you add, and anything else goes to your team.
- How much per window?
- Full replacement or an insert?
- Do you do siding as well?
- Can you replace my front door?
- Do you offer financing?
- What’s the warranty?
- Do you service my area?
- Vinyl, fiber cement or wood siding?
- What happens at the estimate?
- Can someone come out Saturday?
- How long does the install take?
- Do you handle HOA approvals?
- How soon can you start?
- Can I talk to a person?
- Can I ask after hours?
- Will new windows cut my energy bill?
Your estimator knows the project before they arrive.
You choose which projects you take, which areas you serve and what happens next, in your dashboard instructions. Ellen gathers the details and hands every lead to your team. She supports your office, she doesn’t replace it.
The homeowner says
“My windows are drafty”
“We need to replace about 12 windows.” “The old sliders leak air all winter.”
Ellen asks the questions your estimator would ask, so the request arrives already qualified.

Do you replace windows and siding together?
Yes, we do both. Which sides of the house need work, and about how many windows?
All sides need siding, and about 12 windows.
Got it. What's your address, and about how old is the house?
Estimate keptAnswered in seconds, so this homeowner never called the next contractor.
Answers at 9 PM when a window won't close
A homeowner with a broken or drafty window books with whoever replies first. Ellen replies in seconds, so that estimate doesn't go to a competitor.
Answers the questions that stall an estimate

Alerts your team in seconds
A text and an email with the full transcript land the moment a lead qualifies, so follow-up starts while the homeowner is still interested.
Sends each lead to the right person
Matched by project type, area and who is free. Storm claims go to your storm estimator, full replacements to your sales lead, so every lead reaches the person who can close it.
Shows which leads become signed jobs
See which pages, searches and ads bring booked estimates, then put your budget where the jobs are.
After a storm, the first company to answer often gets the job.
If a homeowner mentions hail, wind or storm damage, Ellen asks what was damaged, whether water is getting in, and whether an insurance claim is open. She puts that in the lead summary you get by text and email, and sends your booking link so they can pick the earliest open time. She doesn’t give advice about claims or promise coverage.

Many homeowners with one damaged window or a patch of siding will want the rest of the house done too.
Make Ellen your own.
Give your assistant its own name, photo and brand color. Write the context and the rules in your dashboard, and Ellen follows them in every conversation. Anything she shouldn’t answer goes straight to your team.
Custom context
Tell Ellen about your company: the products you install, your service area, your financing and your tone. She answers in your words.
Harlan Exteriors serves Maple Grove, Osseo and nearby. We install windows and siding, with financing available. Friendly and plain-spoken, never pushy.
Additional instructions
Add rules for what she should and shouldn’t do, like where to book, what to avoid, and when to hand a conversation to your team.
Service area
Only book homes in Maple Grove, Osseo and nearby. Politely decline everything else.
Prices and insurance
Never quote prices or answer insurance questions. Offer the estimate and send them to the team.
See which ads and searches bring in real window and siding projects.

Your chats show which projects and areas come up each season, so you know what to advertise and say on your site.

Hi, I’m Ellen. Ask me anything about windows, siding or doors.
How much for a new front door with side windows?
It depends on the door style, size, glass and how it’s installed, so our estimator gives an exact price at a free visit. I can’t give a number that wouldn’t hold up. Is it a steel or fiberglass door you have in mind?
Steel, with two sidelights.
Thanks. Here’s the link to book a free in-home estimate. Thursday at 1:00 PM is open.

Hi, I’m Ellen. Ask me anything about windows, siding or doors.
Is this a real person?
I’m Ellen, Harlan Exteriors’ automated assistant. I can answer questions and send a booking link, or get someone from the office to call you. Which would you like?
A person please. A storm broke two windows and tore off some siding.
Done. Marcus is being texted now, with your address and the problem, so you won’t have to repeat it.

Questions and answers
Will it tell homeowners a price per window?
Only if you add prices to your instructions in the dashboard. Otherwise, it explains what affects the price and offers to book a free in-home estimate.
We sell windows, siding and doors. Will it mix them up?
No. It asks which project they have in mind first, then asks the right questions for that project, based on your instructions.
Can it check that both homeowners will be there?
Yes. Add that question to your instructions in the dashboard, and the answer shows up in the lead summary.
Will it work with our scheduling and sales software?
Homeowners book through your own scheduling link (Google Calendar, Outlook or Calendly), so your open times stay where they are. Each lead comes to you by text and email, and it can go into your sales software through Zapier or a webhook. Use Leap or another system? We can connect it.
We already have a tool that shows homeowners what new windows would look like.
Keep it. That tool shows the house. Ellen gets the estimate booked. They work fine together.
What does it say about financing and warranties?
Only the options and warranty details you add, in your words. If someone is interested in financing, it notes that in the lead summary. Anything it can’t answer goes to your team.
What about people outside our area, or small jobs?
You list the areas you serve and your smallest job in your dashboard instructions. One-window repairs and out-of-area homes get a friendly reply and no booking link.
Does it answer our phones or customer texts?
No. It only works as a chatbot on your website. Your office team still handles the phones.
Will this replace my salespeople or office staff?
No. It handles website questions and helps people book estimates so your team can focus on phones, visits and closing. It’s extra coverage on your site, not a replacement for your team.
Does it help with my Local Services Ads?
Local Services Ads calls and messages go through Google, not your website, so Ellen doesn’t answer those. She helps with everyone who lands on your website: from Google Ads, search, your Google Business Profile, or people who look you up after seeing an ad, a truck or a yard sign. That’s the part of your marketing budget she works on.
Is the calculator a promise?
No. It’s a way to run your own numbers. The starting numbers are examples, and the change in booked jobs is your own guess. We’ll only share real results once we have them from real customers, with permission.
How many chats turn into leads?
Between 33% and 50% of chats that start turn into a lead sent to your team.
What does it cost?
We go over pricing on the demo.
How long does setup take, and do I need a web developer?
About 5 minutes to go live. You add your details in the dashboard, add your booking link, and paste one short script on your site. It works on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, custom sites and more.
Can I see which ads and searches bring in leads?
Yes. With our GA4 integration, you can see how visitors from your paid ads and from search turn into chats and leads. With our Zapier integration, each lead’s details can go to the other tools you use for follow-up emails, spreadsheets or team alerts, and help you decide where to spend.

See how it would help your customers.
We’ll show you the chatbot on your own website and how Ellen handles real situations, then go over pricing.
